Bolivarian Government carries out maintenance work at the Ramón Carrasquero Hydroelectric Plant in Mérida

The Bolivarian Government, through CORPOELEC and the Government of the Bolivarian State of Mérida, carries out preventive maintenance work at the Ramón Carrasquero Hydroelectric Plant, in order to guarantee service to more than 3,000 inhabitants of the Miranda municipality.

The Secretary of Public Services, Marielys Sacipa, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for New Sources and Rational Use of Electric Energy, Tania Masea, reported that, within the framework of the Second National Popular Consultation, the work was inspected together with the popular power to ensure the operation of this important source of water energy.

Sacipa indicated that hand in hand with the community councils, heads of the UBCH, street chiefs and community leaders, work is being done to improve public services in the five territorial axes of the entity.
