In Plaza Bolívar, the parish of El Valle and La Casa del Obrero, in the Sucre parish of Caracas, rehabilitation work is being carried out in these spaces, so that the inhabitants of the capital can enjoy these places, in addition to highlighting the history that each one of them has.
These works are part of the plan for the recovery of public spaces promoted by the national Government with the intention of improving the quality of life of citizens and making cities more humane, an objective set out by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, as part of his Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T).
The mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, was responsible for supervising these works, who reaffirmed the commitment of the municipal government to the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro.
“We are inspecting this work, which adds to the transformation of Caracas, ordered by our president Nicolás Maduro Moros,” he added.
During his inspection of Plaza Bolívar, he stressed that the project aims to transform the place into a new space for meeting and interaction for the people of Caracas, thus contributing to revitalizing community life. The mayor also highlighted the transformation of La Casa del Obrero, an emblematic space in the Sucre parish. In this place, new cultural spaces are being developed that will promote encounter and interaction between citizens, with the aim of enriching the cultural offer of the area and strengthening social cohesion.
