Bolivarian Government congratulates Barbados on the anniversary of its independence and the proclamation of its Republic

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela congratulated the Government and the People of Barbados for the double commemoration it celebrates today: the independence achieved on November 30, 1966 and the proclamation of its republic on November 30, 2021.

From his telegram channel, Foreign Minister Yván Gil said that the action is being carried out on behalf of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and his people.

In that regard, he added, “Barbados is a sister nation of Venezuela, with which it shares historical ties, cooperation and friendship that we will continue to honor and strengthen as sovereign allies.”
