The Bolivarian Government convened the V Meeting of the National Council for Aquatic Spaces (CNEA), for December 4 at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base, in La Carlota, Caracas, as part of the Venezuela Transport Expo 2025.
The relevance of this meeting lies in the fact that Venezuela is a maritime country by nature, which means that it channels more than 90% of its trade through the sea, according to the Ministry of Transport press.
The Council is structured in 15 committees and associated areas that reflect a holistic vision.
The main objective of this meeting will be to continue promoting the strategic vision that seeks to take advantage of the immense wealth and potential of Venezuela's aquatic spaces for the integral development of the country.
Since its creation in 2005, the CNEA has served as a fundamental advisory body, conceived as a great forum for meeting to comprehensively promote the country's maritime potential.
