The communities of the Yanomami indigenous people, located in the Mavaca parish of the Alto Orinoco municipality, received from the Ministry of Health an important supply of supplies and medicines for the care of these original inhabitants.

The provision, according to a press release, consisted of more than 12 thousand units of medical supplies; a delivery that seeks to provide immediate care, to strengthen the “Yanomami Health Plan”, leaving a robust and sustainable installed capacity in the communities.

These drugs will be supplied to Popular Type Offices (CPT) I Mavaca and CPTI Sipoi.

It should be noted that for the transfer of these doses, the Health portfolio team carried out a one-day land tour from the jurisdiction of Atures to Autana, followed by an exhaustive ten-day river tour, culminating in the arrival of vital supplies to the area of influence.
