Bolivarian Government delivered food and medicine to families affected by the rains in Táchira

The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, delivered food and medicine to families affected by the heavy rains recorded in recent days in the Andean region.

Bernal, during his visit to the town of San Vicente de la Revancha, which was seriously affected by the flooding of a river, asked the families to be patient. “The Bolivarian Government is deploying trying to solve all problems as soon as possible,” he said.

He also argued that the task of enabling the road is a complex task. “You are not alone, here we are the government in the street responding,” he emphasized.

He stressed that an outpost of civil protection officials, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and doctors arrived in the area

For her part, Amara Conde, residents of the community, stressed that there are many people who are collaborating with clothes and food and Governor Bernal is going to help us with the road that is the most important thing.

“We thank God and the Bolivarian Government for the doctors who came to treat us and give us medicine,” he added.
