Bolivarian Government evaluated progress in strategies to strengthen food security in the country

The National Superintendency of Agrifood Management (SUNAGRO), led by Carlos Leal Tellería, met with the Directors, Coordinators and Coordinators of this instance, in order to evaluate the progress, achievements and goals in the short and medium term of all departments and municipalities, within the framework of the 7 Transformations and the Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA).
During the meeting, the superintendent emphasized the importance of continuing to work together, to guarantee the country's food security and strengthen oversight and control mechanisms in the agri-food sector, the Ministry of People's Power for Food reported in a press release on its website.
This meeting seeks to ensure that all departments and municipalities align with the objectives established in the 7 Transformations, which seek to optimize both internal and external management.
The participants took stock of the actions implemented to date, as well as the challenges they face, and proposals to improve operational efficiency were discussed and action plans were established to promote the well-being of workers in the sector.
Leal Tellería reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening SUNAGRO and defending food security and sovereignty, stressing that the quality of life of workers in the agri-food sector is a priority of the Bolivarian Government .
The meeting concluded with a call to all those present to maintain unity, and a focus on collective work to achieve the established objectives, thus ensuring the well-being of the Venezuelan people.
