The Bolivarian Government, through the Andes 2025 Task Force, remains active because the rains affected different sectors of the state of Trujillo.

In this regard, representatives of the National Government carried out a technical deployment on site with the purpose of evaluating the conditions of the supply of drinking water and establishing measures aimed at its normalization.

As part of the tour, the state of the Toma El Cumbe Dam, a key area for capturing the flow of the Motatán River, was verified, whose flood impacted this facility located in the Juan Ignacio Montilla parish of the Valera municipality.

In addition, the operation of the City of Valera Water Treatment Plant was reviewed, including the Valera, Carvajal and La Beatriz systems, responsible for supplying the towns of Valera and San Rafael de Carvajal.
