Bolivarian Government expanded video surveillance system in Anzoátegui

With the installation of 11 new video surveillance cameras on Cumanagoto Avenue, the Bolivar municipality has a total of 44 active devices in the Central Area of Barcelona, Anzoátegui state, which transmit images in real time directly to the Command and Monitoring Center of the Directorate of Public Security.

During the presentation of the system, the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis Marcano, accompanied the mayor of Barcelona, Sugey Herrera, and the municipal secretary of Public Security, Ykser Osorio, who demonstrated the operation of this technology capable of instantly detecting incidents and immediately mobilizing Civil Protection officials and police forces, while it was announced that this same strategy will soon be replicated in the avenues Armed, Intercommunal and Alternate Forces.

Operating 24 hours a day, this technological system makes it possible to anticipate various situations through preventive actions against problems such as traffic violations, noise pollution, minor crimes, improper disposal of solid waste and businesses that operate outside the permitted hours.

These actions strengthen security mechanisms and the protection of citizens in the entity.
