The Bolivarian government expressed its deepest regret for the physical departure of the journalist, Walter Martínez. Through a message on the social network Telegram, the Minister of Communication and Information, Miguel Pérez Pirela, reported through a chronicle about the death of this communicator who taught in Venezuelan journalism.
“It departed from our beloved, contaminated and unique spaceship Walter Martínez.
Walter consolidated a unique style, based on academic rigor and an exceptional ability to decipher global geopolitics. Through his work, he brought distant realities closer to Venezuelan homes, allowing the audience to understand events “in full development” with a depth uncommon in conventional television.
His legacy remains in his commitment to truth and in the constant defense of critical thinking, he always maintained a firm stance in favor of the sovereignty of peoples, becoming an ethical reference for new generations of communicators.
On behalf of the President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez and the Bolivarian Government, we convey our sincerest condolences to their families, friends and colleagues.
We honor his memory, his discipline and the clarity that characterized each of his interventions.
Have the camera at your disposal, dear Walter.”
