The Bolivarian Government favored more than 1,685 families with a day of Food Mission in the Peña municipality of Yaracuy state.

During the activity, six tons of chicken were distributed in eight adjacent communities, with specific attention to children and adults.

“Through PDVAL, we not only receive proteins, but also food through the Va a tu Casa Winery; this has benefited our families in the territory,” said the head of the San Roque community, Carmen Pérez.

Food security is strengthened weekly through the Sovereign Field Fairs and the Food Mission, with the purpose of ensuring the well-being of the population, according to a note from the Government of Yaracuy.
