Bolivarian Government handed over rehabilitated sports court to the La Pastora community in Caracas

The Bolivarian Government provided a rehabilitated sports court in the La Pastora community and provided kits and sports equipment for the academies that live in these spaces.

The delivery was given by the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Arnaldo Sánchez, who awarded the materials after the traditional Sports Mass.

“The Community Games, the School Games, the University Games are already being organized, it is a whole system of territorialization of sports that aims at sports mass, towards physical activity for the health of our children, young people and adults,” said the Minister.

He recalled that more than 6,900 athletes from all over the country participated in the past National Games. “These young people are the ones who are preparing in the High Performance Centers to qualify for the Pan American Youth Games and then go to the Olympic Games,” he said.

“We continue to work to strengthen the bases in the different sports disciplines, to continue to support all athletes by the National Government,” he said.
