At the Dr. Samuel Darío Maldonado Hospital of the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS), a total of 30 patients received pacemaker implants during one day in Barinas.

This initiative, promoted by the Bolivarian Government and the Ministry of Popular Power for Health and the 1×10 of good governance, not only represents a significant advance in health care in the region, but also a testimony to the unwavering commitment to the well-being of each citizen.

The single health authority, Claudia Bernate, assured that the organization of the day was impeccable, and the procedures were carried out with efficiency and professionalism by the medical, paramedical, nursing and support team, according to the Ministry of Health press report.

“Each member of the staff, with their dedication and commitment, contributed to creating an environment of trust and safety for patients and their families,” he said.

He also added that each of these 30 implants provides patients with an opportunity to transform their lives and provide hope.
