Bolivarian Government inaugurated Héctor Rojas Observation Room at the National Astronomical Observatory

The Bolivarian Government inaugurated the Héctor Rojas Observation Room of the National Astronomical Observatory (OAN) of the “Francisco J. Duarte Astronomy Research Center Foundation” in Mérida.

Through a publication on her channel by the Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jimenéz, she explained that the new room has two semi-professional telescopes designed to continue accompanying research in space sciences, astronomy and astrophysics.

He also asserted that this space vindicates the legacy of Doctor Héctor Rojas. “His great contributions to Venezuelan and world science. A distinguished Zuliano researcher whose work was decisive for NASA's success in the project of taking human beings to the Moon,” he said.

“We as Venezuelans are recovering their history and making it known to new generations, so that it is another source of inspiration in the development of projects and dreams,” he said.
