The Bolivarian Government inaugurated the expansion and rehabilitation of Francisco de Miranda Avenue, which connects to the east with the center of Guanare.

Among the rehabilitation works carried out by the Government, the complete scarification of the road, the expansion to four channels, the repaving, the construction of sidewalks and boulders and the installation of a new public lighting system stand out, in addition to the signage and demarcation of the 505 linear meters that make it up.

In addition, 1,965 tons of asphalt were placed, a traffic light was installed and a public lighting system was built with a new low-voltage line, 22 hexagonal poles, 84 LED lights and a 25 KVA transformer.

Francisco de Miranda Avenue becomes the model of the avenues we are going to build this year in Portuguesa,” announced the regional president, Primitivo Cedeño.

He also added that Los Girasoles Avenue, in Turén, will also be rehabilitated; Hugo Chávez, in Agua Blanca; the Araure-Agua Blanca road pair “and many others that will come out in the course of the year.”
