Bolivarian Government inaugurated Universidad Popular del Ambiente Fruto Vivas in Mérida

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC) and the government of Mérida, inaugurated a nucleus of the Universidad Popular del Ambiente Fruto
Vivas (UPAFV) in that entity.
Minister Josué Lorca, quoted in a press release from the institution, emphasized that this university is strengthening the fulfillment of the country's fifth historic objective, which is the discussion of the sixth T in the new government program of President Nicolás Maduro.
“The university plays a fundamental role in the state of Mérida, which is one of the greenest states we have in the country with 70% environmental protection, which represents a great commitment for all Merida residents and Venezuelans,” he said.
The rector of the UPAFV will be Professor Manuel Parra, who will have a staff of 20 teachers
