Bolivarian Government inaugurates 3rd International Women's Meeting at the Polyhedron of Caracas

With more than 600 attendees, this Wednesday, June 25, the 3rd International Women's Meeting of the Unitary Transport Federation of Latin America and the Caribbean (FUTAC) began, a day where strategic issues related to equity, inclusion and the role of women in the different productive sectors of the region are analyzed.
During the opening ceremony, the deputy of the National Assembly (AN) and rector of the International University of Communications (LAUICOM), Tania Díaz, urged peoples to advance their own development models and to consolidate spaces of productive sovereignty.
The event, which will run until June 26 , will be attended by representatives from several Latin American and Caribbean countries, who will exchange experiences around women's participation in sectors such as transport, fishing, ports and communication.
The venue for the event is the Caracas Polyhedron from where public policies aimed at the communal economy, the implementation of the so-called Seven Transformations (7T), and the fight against neofascism will be discussed from a feminist perspective.
