Bolivarian Government of Anzoátegui awarded more than 400 officials for supporting rescue efforts on 24J

The government of the state of Anzoátegui paid tribute to the vocation of service and the commitment of the police officers who came to the areas affected by the double earthquake of last June 24 to support the rescue efforts.

The award of the Honor of Merit “Citizen of Anzoátegui” award to more than 400 officials of the State Police and the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) .ñ, was in charge of Governor Luis Marcano.

From the central courtyard of the Government, the regional president highlighted the loyalty and absolute disposition of uniformed women and men, stressing that the entity has a security body willing to respond firmly to any adversity.

The ceremony was also attended by the Commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) Anzoátegui, Manuel Belzarez Escobar; the general director of Polianzoátegui, Frank Alonso Osuna; and the head of the CPNB's Eastern Comprehensive Police Defense Strategic Region (REDIP), Antonio Pérez Luis, together with mayors from the northern zone and regional legislators, who accompanied this recognition to the joint effort to protect and assist citizens.

This emotional event brought together the troops deployed through the Anzoátegui Solidarity Plan, who actively participated in the rescue tasks after the natural contingency.
