The Bolivarian Government of Falcón state inaugurated the new René Nouel Respiratory Unit, located in the type IV Dr. Alfredo Van Grieken hospital.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias, this unit has a capacity to care for more than 600 patients per month.

The governor of the state, Víctor Clark Boscán, accompanied by a team of specialists, highlighted the importance and significant impact that this service has on the public health system and on the strengthening of the hospital center that is a reference in the west of the country.

“With the addition of this unit, the necessary conditions have been created to provide emergency services, outpatient visits, observation, hospitalization and close monitoring of each case related to various respiratory diseases,” he said.

The unit will work with 42 health professionals and is equipped with eight hospital beds, negatoscopes and other furniture required for medical evaluation.
