Bolivarian Government of La Guaira inaugurated first pediatric intensive care unit

The Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, inaugurated the new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Rafael Medina Jiménez hospital in Pariata, in the state of La Guaira.
“This
service is essential for the first 24 or 48 hours of
critical care for pediatric patients in La
Guaira. President Nicolás Maduro
entrusted Governor Terán and
me with the task of guaranteeing both space and investment so that this important care could
be given to the Guaireño people and thus continue to
guarantee more life, of course, with the help of our health personnel,” he said.
The rehabilitated
spaces have two hospitalization beds and one intermediate
care bed, equipment such as state-of-the-art respirators,
multiparameter monitors, thermal blankets, stop cars and, in addition, medical and nursing staff ready to care
for each patient.
