Bolivarian Government optimized drinking water service in La Pastora

5,000 families benefited from rehabilitation work

The Hydrological Department of the Capital Region (HIDROCAPITAL) carried out corrective maintenance on the 6 and 8 inch diameter valves located in the Altos de Lídice sector, La Pastora parish, Caracas, in order to improve the supply of drinking water to more than 5 thousand families in this area.

“The engineers who participated in the work were very professional and were able to bring water to the houses. We have worked together from very early to the wee hours of the morning so that the entire Altos de Lídice Commune has the vital liquid,” said the spokeswoman for the Technical Water Boards, Nelly Baltazar.

Baltazar also reported that at the time the work was carried out, 120 meters of 4-inch diameter pipe were installed to reach the highest sites with pressure.

This work guarantees optimal and quality service to the population that lives in Coromoto, Mata Palo, Independencia, Los Alpes, Urdaneta, Campo Elías, Chupulun, Cujicito, Rinconcito, Don Bosco and San José.
