Bolivarian Government oversees construction of Betania II pumping station

The Bolivarian Government, together with the team from the Mayor's Office of Cristóbal Rojas, inspected the construction of the Betania II drinking water pumping station, in the community of Los Palos Grandes, belonging to the Commune of El Gigante de la Patria.
The Secretary General of Government of the Mayor's Office, Anthony Laya, stressed that this work, which has the support of the People's Power, will serve about 150 communities.
“More territory and less desk, that's what President Nicolás Maduro instructed, and here we are, on the street working for the people,” said Laya, a press release from the Mayor's Office of Cristóbal Rojas.
The pumping station is part of the projects approved in the National Popular Consultation, a form of Government promoted by the Venezuelan Head of State.
In addition, Laya explained that the pipes and hoses have already been installed, which is the first thing that is executed to begin with the construction of the drinking water pumping system.
He asserted that the priority of Mayor Yuhismar Hernández's administration is to guarantee public services and the social welfare of all Charallavenses, as well as to comply with the Homeland Plan and the 7 Transformations.
