Bolivarian Government oversees rehabilitation work on the Petare—Santa Lucía highway

Authorities of the Bolivarian Government carried out an inspection of the rehabilitation works of 11 kilometers of the Petare-Santa Lucía highway, in the state of Miranda.

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, announced that more than 8,000 tons of asphalt will be installed and 15,000 luminaires will be replaced, with the objective of ensuring safe mobility for the inhabitants of Miranda through the National Plan for Comprehensive Road Care 2025 and Plan Antonio José de Sucre .

For his part, Pedro Infante, head of the Antonio José de Sucre Plan and first vice-president of the National Assembly, stressed that these initiatives are part of the 7 Transformations of the Homeland Plan, which promote the development and well-being of the communities of the Sucre municipality.

Infante also mentioned that these works complement the works already carried out on 1.5 kilometers of the La Dolorita highway, thus increasing the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to improving road infrastructure and ensuring a favorable environment for all.

“With these actions, we continue to confirm our commitment to listening to and responding to the demands of the people, working in synergy to build a safer and more accessible future for all the citizens of Miranda,” said Infante.
