Bolivarian Government provided comprehensive care to more than 700 people of African descent in Curiepe

As part of the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, the National Council for the Development of Afro-descendant Communities of Venezuela (Conadecafro), held a comprehensive care day called Juntera Afro at the Pablo Antonio Rada cultural complex and the boulevard of Plaza Bolívar, Brion municipality, Curiepe, Bolivarian State of Miranda, in which 755 people of African descent were treated, including women, men, girls, children, young people and adults older.
During the activity, people from the Afro-descendant community received care in specialties such as surgery, gynecology, neonatology, internal medicine, general medicine, vaccination, as well as the delivery of medicines, and approximately 150 were delivered free of charge, thus providing meeting spaces for the development of activities of recognition, justice, development, inclusion and peace.
It should be noted that the main objective of Juntera Afro is comprehensive care, through five pavilions such as: Afro-economy, institutionality, comprehensive health, education and children's ward, which allowed free access to these areas in order to continue to promote protection for the Afro-descendant sector.
In addition, during the development of the activity, 11 leading octogenarians of the parish were honored with the award of awards as a sign of the value of the work carried out as a reference for the Afro-Venezuelan community and people, who make the entire country proud.

Laura Rodríguez, from Curiepeña, highlighted “The day was very satisfying, I was able to receive my medications and we are truly grateful for the kindness and attention.”
For his part, the cameraman of the Ministry of Culture of the National Disc Center (Cendis), Luis Rondón, said: “A lot of people took the tour, people were interested in photography classes, the activity was very good and we really enjoyed attending.”
During the activity, the ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Don Marcos Ndong, the president of Conadecafro, Marizabel Blanco, the representative of Barlovento and president of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Liliana González, the representative to the national parliament of people of African descent and coordinator of the Afro-Venezuelan National Summit, Casimira Monasterios, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Food, National Institute of Nutrition, Court for the Protection of Children and Adolescents of Miranda State, Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents of the Mayor's Office of the Brión municipality, Women's Institute, Farma Patria, José Gregorio Hernández Mission, Police of the Bolivarian State of Miranda, Mission Hogares de la Patria, the National Disc Center (Cendis), TransMiranda and other public service agencies.
