Bolivarian Government recovered 100% of power transmission lines after earthquakes

The Bolivarian Government managed to recover 100% of the electricity system's transmission lines after the double earthquake that affected several regions of the country on June 24.

The information was confirmed by the Minister of People's Power for Electric Energy, Rolando Alcalá, who explained that more than 2,500 workers in the electricity industry are deployed throughout the country to ensure the rehabilitation and stabilization of the National Electricity System.

“At the moment, more than 400 megawatts have already been added to the National Electricity System , which makes it possible to stabilize the system in several sectors,” said the minister during a balance sheet from the headquarters of the National Dispatch Center, reports Radio Miraflores

Alcalá held a meeting with ministers who make up the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services to provide a balance of the work being carried out by the different bodies.

For his part, the Minister of Public Works, Juan Ramírez Luces, indicated that the different ministries have intervened throughout this time to stabilize and recover services at critical moments of the earthquake and the post-earthquake.”

The official also supported the balance offered by President Delcy Rodríguez regarding the work carried out with a special focus on public services to solve the emergency caused by the earthquakes. “More than 700 machines and teams were involved in everything that is this operation, which is currently being carried out 24 hours a day,” added Minister Ramírez.
