Bolivarian Government rehabilitates Orinoco City's speedboat port

Through the plan for the refurbishment and beautification of the boat port in Ciudad Orinoco, Independencia municipality of the state of Anzoátegui, the infrastructure that receives people who travel by river between that state and Bolívar is renewed.

The rehabilitation of the structure will allow better movement in the entry, departure and berthing of fishing and human transport vessels, thus improving working and production conditions in the territory.

Local press reports that this port is the main port in the municipality, where more than 2,000 people travel daily between Ciudad Orinoco and Ciudad Bolívar, and where agricultural and fishing products are transported daily.

Next to this port, the Orinoco Ecological Park will be built for the enjoyment of all and to promote tourism.
