Bolivarian Government rehabilitates streets in Anzoátegui state

Marcano pointed out that with these tasks, more than 77,000 tons of asphalt have been placed during this year 2024.

The Bolivarian Government of Anzoátegui rehabilitated Mundo Nuevo street, La Turbina de Cantaura sector, after the application of 300 tons of asphalt, in an intervention of 235 linear meters of pavement as part of the 2024 Community Asphalt Plan.


In this regard, the governor of the entity, Luis José Marcano, said that this project estimates placing 2,000 tons of asphalt in unilateral roads leading to and from seven streets of the Freites municipality, through the Road and Infrastructure Corporation (COVINEA), with the road recovery program; he also reported that in the 10 municipalities of the entity, the installation of 20,000 tons is expected as a goal.


In addition, he pointed out that with these tasks more than 77,000 tons of asphalt have been placed during this year 2024, which added to the more than 47,000 in 2023 and 74,000 in 2022, shows the recovery of the state's main trunk roads, streets and avenues.


“There are 200,000 tons in almost three years compared to the zero that were placed between 2017 and 2021,” Marcano said.
