Bolivarian Government repaired drinking water mains in the Quebrada La Iguana sector of La Guaira

The water service to several sectors of the state of La Guaira will be gradually reactivated, following the repair of a 36-inch diameter pipe in the Quebrada La Iguana sector, said the Minister of Water Care, Carlos Mast.

In statements replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), he specified that the service will be restored in communities in the parishes of Catia La Mar, Carlos Soublette, Urimare, Maiquetía, La Guaira and Macuto.

Mast explained that a “multidisciplinary water team is taking actions to restore service as soon as possible.”

The Sectorial Vice Presidency for Public Works and Services recently reported the recovery of the main pumping stations and the replacement of sections of collectors for wastewater.
