Bolivarian Government signed strategic alliance with poultry plant in Zulia

The Bolivarian Government signed a strategic alliance with a poultry plant located in the state of Zulia, with the purpose of maximizing the use of its installed capacity and increasing national food production.
The plant, attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, will reactivate its production lines to respond more efficiently to the needs of the Venezuelan people.
In this regard, the Minister of Industries and National Production and president of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), Alex Saab, together with the Minister of Agriculture, Julio León Heredia and the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, are making progress in “concrete actions for the recovery and strengthening of the national productive apparatus,” according to a publication on the MINPESCA Instagram account.
With this agreement, the recovery of the primary and agro-industrial sector will be promoted, while ensuring greater diversification of the food supply.
He also stressed that strengthening this sector, which is essential in the basic basket, will improve availability in the domestic market,” said the portfolio.
It also advances the objective of offering quality products, at fair prices and with accessibility for Venezuelan families.
