The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, announced the creation of the National School of Coaches.

During the inauguration of the First International Congress of Sciences Applied to Physical and Sports Preparation at the Venezuelan Olympic Committee, Cardillo reported that the new structure will be accompanied by a national certification process for professionals responsible for preparing athletes and noted that this measure seeks to organize technical training in the country.

The installation of the congress brought together ministry authorities, representatives of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee, coaches and national and international specialists who will address content related to planning, strength, neuroscience and physical evaluation.

The minister stated that the meeting marks the beginning of a permanent training program for coaches and technical teams and maintained that the congress will make it possible to establish the operational bases of the National School of Trainers.

The agenda includes conferences and workshops on applied force, anti-doping culture, cognitive stimulation, microcycle design and injury prevention, in addition to the presentation of conclusions by the Ministry of Sport.
