In the coming weeks, the Bolivarian Government will reactivate the La Gloria de Dios fruit pulp processing plant, located in the General Rafael Urdaneta parish of the Baralt municipality, in the state of Zulia.
This was reported by the government through a press release in which it details that it is “one of the goals of the management of the Secretary of Agricultural Development”.
In this regard, a group of officials accompanied by the president of the Institute for Agricultural Development and Financing (IDFA), Leonardo Chávez, visited the company to ensure that the plant, which has the capacity to produce high-quality nectars, jams and fruit pulps, is reactivated as soon as possible.
The Glory of God has an installed capacity to process about 500 metric tons of fruit pulp per month. As for storage, it can hold 100 metric tons of dry product. When cold, the capacity is another 100 metric tons of finished products and 30 metric tons of raw material, not counting the freezing tunnels that can hold 13 metric tons.
