The city of Cumaná opened its
cultural spaces for the December season with the Christmas fair “Letters read and to
read” in Plaza Ayacucho, to which the Librería del Sur has joined, offering the public a wide selection of works
at affordable prices.
The fair, inaugurated on November 23 and
available until December 1, has become a meeting point
for those looking for new readings, cultural gifts or simply enjoying
a different activity in the heart of the city.
At the stands present, titles
of contemporary narrative, children's and youth literature, politics, education,
poetry, fantasy, science fiction, mystery and essay are exhibited, an offer that seeks to
attract both experienced readers and those who are beginning to explore the
world of books.
In addition to the sale of texts, the event
offers a program designed to liven up the Christmas atmosphere.
Visitors can enjoy carols, musical performances,
traditional parties and stories about the region's cultural history.
In addition, local cuisine and craft stalls were also set up, creating a complete tour that combines reading, art and typical flavors of the season.
