Brazil: Rains hit the south again and leave at least 1,300 people affected

1,300 people have been injured after a heavy rainstorm that once again hit the southern region of Brazil, leaving damage to 24 municipalities in the state of Santa Catarina.
The Civil Defense of Santa Catarina explained that the rainy season of the last two days caused floods, floods and landslides in the Brazilian state bordering Argentina, according to a statement.
Among the municipalities most affected, there were accumulations of rainfall of between 130 and 190 mm in the last 48 hours. The greatest damage occurred in the north of Santa Catarina.
The governor of Santa Catarina, Jorginho Mello, assured that they are prepared to face emergency calls and highlighted the work done in the dams to prevent major catastrophes and above all to save lives.
