In his Con El Mazo Dando program, number 469, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) recalled how 56 years ago the United States committed the well-known massacre in My Lai, a Vietnamese province in which more than 500 people were killed.
“A U.S. army company entered that Vietnamese village and killed half a thousand locals. The American Marines arrived and massacred the entire population of that village,” he recalled.
D stressed that “at this point the United Nations (UN) doesn't say anything like that (...) it's happened, it's old and it doesn't matter,” the first vice-president in the red awning ironized.
“They are forgiven, especially if the gringos did it, who are the ones who pay the payroll,” he added, while assuring that the culprits are “clear”.
