Cabello: Against Venezuela there is a great conspiracy led by the US government

At a press conference held this Wednesday, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed the direct link between the Government of the United States (USA) and terrorist plans against Venezuela.

Offering the progress made in the investigations of terrorist plans against Venezuela, Cabello stated that under the auspices of the extreme national right, “without a doubt, the oligarchies of America and imperialism are involved in conspiracies against our country.”

He stressed that “the drug trafficking mafia in Colombia is involved here” in terrorist plans, recalling the dismantling of the criminal network in the state of Zulia, from which more than 34 tons of cocaine were seized.

“What we did to them in the state of Zulia is a severe blow. Very hard. When in a month you manage to confiscate 34,860 kg of high-purity cocaine from them, you hit them where it hurts: in the pocket. And they are desperate. (...) The world already knows what is happening in Venezuela, that against Venezuela there is a great conspiracy led by the United States government, led by the oligarchies and drug trafficking mafias that operate in Colombia and Ecuador right now,” he emphasized.
