For the elections on May 25, more than 6,000 candidates will participate, including some opponents who have called for invasions or have been involved in coup plans, warned the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

During the Con El Mazo Dando program on its 527 broadcast, he criticized that these right-wing leaders, after doing so much damage to the country, are now seeking the people's vote.

“There are sectors of the opposition that today are candidates and participated in attempted coups, there are candidates who have been involved in terrorist plans against the country. That's why our obligation is to tell him, to take off his disguise,” he emphasized.

He also repudiated the fact that these groups, after participating in electoral processes, refuse to recognize results when they do not favor them. “They have participated in almost every election we have made. They only serve the CNE (National Electoral Council) when they win,” he criticized.
