Cabello: Con El Mazo Dando has put the opposition in its rightful place

This Friday, June 27, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that Con El Mazo Dando has served to demonstrate the true face and all the hatred that exists among the Venezuelan opposition, which was previously untouchable by the media.

“If that program has served any purpose, in these 11 years, it has been to, not to disassemble, but to put things in their right place, because I am going to consider myself complicit in the fact that today in Venezuela it is openly said that Leopoldo López is a rascal (...) here before it was impossible for anyone to come out and say that (Henrique) Capriles was useless; that didn't exist because he was a son of daddy and mommy,” he said during his show S in Truco Ni Maña.

In that sense, he indicated that, before the Mazo, all those insults and hatred, the opposition, were said to be hidden. “But suddenly the Mazo started taking them out and there they lost their sentence, they lost their shame and now they insult each other without hesitation,” he said.

He stressed that these fights and the truth of the opposition began to come out because “El Mazo gave them space, they were censored by themselves”, reiterating that television stations used to have sacred figures and could not be named.
