During his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed that North American imperialism, with its military deployment in the Caribbean, has no real interest in the fight against drugs, the reality is that it constantly attacks and threatens Venezuela because it seeks to seize the country's natural resources.

He argued that in the United States “the drug problem is not yesterday, it is not today, it is not of the Bolivarian Revolution, it is a structural problem in a society that is rotten.”

“This is a rotten society and they want to put the blame on others. A society in which there has not been a single government that has cared about the citizen of that country,” he said.

He asserted that it is necessary to talk about this topic, since the better you know, the more arguments you can handle aimed at defending the Bolivarian Revolution and defending peace in this country.

“It's not because of drugs, it's not because of drug trafficking, terrorism or the Aragua Train, it's because of our country's natural resources,” he ratified.

In that regard, Cabello stressed that the United States wants to solve the world's problems” and inside it has 74 million people who are going hungry right now.”

During the 553rd issue, he stated that the United States, instead of serving its population, “approves money for ships, planes and is unable to approve money to save the lives of those who are using self-promoted drugs.”

“They want to blame other countries. They fall for lies,” he reiterated.
