Cabello: Edmundo González was the leader of a death squad in El Salvador

Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), recalled that Edmundo González was in his youth the leader of a death squad in El Salvador.
“This one murdered people (...) He was the leader of the death squads that operated at the Venezuelan Embassy in El Salvador together with Leopoldo Castillo,” he said.
He argued that it is important not to forget that episode in González's life and his adventures with the “matacuras”.
