Cabello: February 23, 2019 was a heroic act, they couldn't handle this town

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the events of February 23, 2019 were a heroic act of the revolutionary people who did not allow the supposed humanitarian aid of the Venezuelan extreme right to enter the country, in which weapons and elements were camouflaged to generate destabilization in the country.

“If these people had managed to enter here on February 23, the story would be different, have no doubt about that, February 23 was a heroic act (...) they thought that the forces of the Latin American right would pass and they couldn't handle a people, don't look for us to find us,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 516.

Cabello also took the opportunity to extend the invitation to the cine-concert for peace that will be held at the Plaza la Juventud de Bellas Artes in Caracas, as part of the activities that will take place to commemorate this historic date in contemporary Venezuela.

He noted that among the cultural activities, the documentary The Battle of the Bridges by Venezuelan filmmaker Carlos Azpurua will be screened .
