Cabello: Here the government is decided by the People and not by any businessman or leadership

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, called on businessmen this Monday to dedicate themselves to their economic activities, assuring that in the country it is the people who decide the government.

“Businessmen dedicate themselves to producing, to working, which is decided for the government by the People, not the businessmen, no leadership decides, it is not decided by daddy and mommy's children, it is decided by our people in free, sovereign and independent elections, ” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference.

He also ironized and described as a “great immorality” the recent statements of businessman Lorenzo Mendoza, in which he said that “there was unfair competition against him (...) when he never competed and that he had a great monopoly, now when real competition comes, then the world falls apart and they begin to blame the State and not their inefficiency (...) anyway: Welcome to the real world!” , he assured.

He reaffirmed that, since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, it is the People who rule. At the same time, he referred to the fact that Legislative and Municipal Councils are installed throughout the country in Santa Paz in the states where Chavism is the majority.

In turn, he emphasized that on January 10, the revolutionary forces will accompany President Nicolás Maduro in his swearing in at the Federal Legislative Palace, as established by the Constitution.

On the other hand, he highlighted the lines given by President Maduro during his interview with Ignacio Ramonet; as well as the installation of the National Assembly, in which deputies Jorge Rodríguez, Pedro Infante and América Pérez were ratified in their positions.
