The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed his loyalty to the People, to the Bolivarian Revolution and to President Nicolás Maduro under any circumstances.

The statement was raised in response to the campaign of opposition extremism aimed at promoting rumors of divisionism within the revolutionary forces.

“Keep going that way, you are 26 years old in that story. The day a scabbard passes, when nothing will happen, I will be at Nicolás's side defending Venezuela and the people,” he said, while stressing the spirit of unity and loyalty that prevails among revolutionaries, in the midst of the siege of imperialism and warrior threats against the Homeland.

He highlighted the level of organization that exists in the Town to face any circumstance. “Now we are going to deploy from Thursday to Saturday to form the Commands of Integral Bolivarian Communities,” he said.

He recalled that this is the second step, after the establishment of Comprehensive Basic Bolivarian Committees in 237 thousand 992 streets across the country.

“There we are organizing ourselves for whatever circumstance. If it's to win elections, we win elections. If it's to defend the Bolivarian Revolution, we defend it; if it's to defend the Homeland, we defend it,” he said.

In Venezuela the president is Nicolás!

The also sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace referred to the statements of the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, in which he points out a possible dialogue with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro.

“There is only one Constitutional President here who is called Nicolás Maduro, and if anyone wants to talk to the Government of Venezuela they have to call Miraflores. Where are you going to call? To a pay phone that's around the corner? No! And in Miraflores the one who grabs is Nicolás Maduro,” he emphasized.

He warned about the actions that the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, uses to sabotage this possible dialogue between the two leaders. “They're desperate,” he said.

Keep your planes!

The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also spoke out regarding the unilateral decision of some airlines to suspend their flights to Venezuela and dismissed the fact that the Government had “threatened” these companies.

“Here we don't need to threaten anyone, because we are a people of peace, as they have said out there,” he decided and explained that in a meeting held by government authorities with representatives of the airlines, they were asked to resume activities or dispense with concessions to operate on Venezuelan soil.

“The national government, in a sovereign decision, told the companies that if they did not resume flights within 48 hours, they would not resume them again,” he said.

He described as invalid the argument made by these airlines to comply with a danger alert (NOTAM) issued by the U.S. government that has no jurisdiction over Venezuela's sovereign airspace.

Venezuela is a sovereign country and it decides who flies in its airspace and who doesn't,” he reiterated while drawing attention to the fact that these airlines maintained flights to other countries in the region using the same routes that are used to enter the country.

“Those lines continue to fly to other countries without any problem, but suddenly they decided not to fly to Venezuela,” he stressed.

In addition, in demonstration of the irrationality of this measure, which sought to affect the country, he referred to the flights that arrive in the nation from the United States as part of the agreement for the return of Venezuelan migrants.

“By the way, how is it so dangerous and a U.S. plane brought 175 Venezuelan migrants today? It's the immorality of those who govern the United States,” he said.

We'll eat them if they come in!

Regarding the constant threats of military intervention against Venezuelan territory, Cabello warned that “it may be easy to enter, the problem is going to be to get out.”

“Whoever dares to set foot in Venezuela is going to face the fury of a people who have never given up in more than 500 years and we don't say this out of arrogance, but out of conviction,” he warned.

After citing a text by the Spanish general Pablo Morillo, sent to the then Spanish king Fernando VII, where he warned that the Venezuelan people do not want to be ruled by foreigners, he remarked that currently “nothing has changed”.

“For those who want to invade us, we tell them that, just as they came to say and believe that our original peoples were cannibals, yes, we are going to eat them alive if they intend to enter,” he said.

It's not Venezuela's fault!

Finally, he mentioned the problem of drug trafficking and consumption in the United States and recalled that this dates back to decades of neglect on the part of the government of the North American nation and the actions promoted by pharmaceutical companies in their quest for profit.

“The drug problem in the United States is not today, it's not yesterday, it's not the Bolivarian Revolution, it's a structural problem and they want to blame others,” he explained and stated that the narrative that the State Department intended to install against Venezuela “fell away.”

“The world already knows that what they have against Venezuela is not because of drugs, it's not because of drug trafficking, terrorism or the Aragua Train, it's because of our country's natural resources,” he remarked.
