The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that journalists like Norbey Marín have accounts with the Venezuelan justice system for participating in terrorist acts against the country.
“There are conversations between these terrorists and the journalists (Norbey Marín) and one day they will be tried for this,” he said.
During the radio program Sin Truco Ni Maña, Cabello reiterated that Marín is complicit in an operation against Venezuela and that he uses the profession of journalism to spread false information, in this case of an alleged explosion in Fort Conopoima, Guárico state.
“Norbey, they didn't give you full information about the operation you were participating in,” Cabello said, explaining that the images of a briefcase containing explosives, shown by Marín, were not the same briefcase with which terrorists were trying to attack Fort Conopoima.
He stressed that the video presented by Marín served to catch the terrorists who were in charge of the operation who sought to intimidate the administration of Cabello as responsible for the country's security.
“Somehow, without being totally my responsibility, they say that they beat me because I am responsible for security. 'Diosdado look we gave you', how do I tell them that they are inept and now I stress that they are inept, triple inept,” he said.
