Cabello: María Corina Machado has a direct link to terrorist operations

The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that María Corina Machado was aware of the terrorist operations that were under way in the country, which is why she also spoke of the “signal in the sky”.

During a press conference to publicize the plans of the right wing against the country, he explained that terrorists planted explosives in Fort Conopoima, in Guárico state, with a timer and which they had programmed for three hours, “but they didn't explode.”

“Mrs. María Corina Machado spoke of signs, she said: 'Wait for the signal', that is the direct link. That was the password, the explosion,” said Cabello Rondón.

The Minister of the People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, said that after that explosion, they were going to infiltrate a military installation and load a helicopter with a load of C4, which had been handed over to him by an official of the Bolivarian Intelligence Service (SEBIN), who is also being held.

“They were going to fly a helicopter in full flight. The sign in the sky, the star, did not reach them. They didn't accomplish the mission,” he said.

Cabello indicated that all people linked to the logistics operation and terrorist plans are under arrest, and they have confessed their ties.

He also announced that as part of the dismantling of the operation, devices were seized for the collection of explosives, grenades and weapons, among others.
