From his Con El Mazo Dando program, the first president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that “one of the uses that has been given to the money they receive through NGOs is to attack parties that are not with La Sayona.”

This statement was made when talking about the recent law on the Control, Regularization, Action and Financing of Non-Governmental Organizations and Non-Profit Social Organizations in its second discussion approved by the National Assembly in recent days.

In that sense, he specified that it is good for the People to remember when members of the right began to attack those who were not with La Sayona.

“They began with a smear campaign, calling them scorpions and rabipelados ( ... )”, he recalled.

Regarding the statements of the opposition deputy Andrés Caleca, who criticized that there was unanimity in the approval of the legal tool in an ironic way, Cabello stressed: “Are we being sold out? We fear very marked differences with the gentlemen who are in the opposition, but they are deputies and they are there in the National Assembly. We all know who they are!”
