Cabello: NGOs are involved in the entire terrorist structure that sought to generate violence

The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are involved in the entire terrorist structure that sought to generate violence in Venezuela during the elections of May 25.

“I take responsibility for everything I am saying, the terrorist organization is involved in: PROVEA, Criminal Forum, United Doctors of Venezuela, among others. They are people who are working with them, academics to generate terrorist acts,” said Cabello Rondón, during a press conference.

He asserted that all this information is on one of the phones of the detainee Juan Pablo Guanipa. “They were going to put dynamite in electoral centers, in the middle of the vote; to explode grenades, not only with the help of drug trafficking, because they have several sources of funding, including NGOs,” he said.

He stressed that among the detainees there are people from Zulia, Caracas, Aragua, Carabobo and Los Teques. “We found a suitcase and an arsenal and all those responsible have been arrested, and everyone who appears involved is going to be arrested,” he said.

“We don't care that they come up with the story that they are human rights defenders, that's a pure lie. No one who feels like a defender of human rights can have statements talking about attacking a country's peace of mind, no one who claims to be a human rights defender can think of putting explosives of this type in hospitals,” he emphasized.
