Cabello: On 23-F 2019, they couldn't handle the dignity of this people

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed that six years ago the People gave a historic day, consolidated peace and the popular-military-police fusion to defeat imperialism and its lackeys.

“On the 11th we went for a walk in Ureña and on the 23rd they (imperialism and its lackeys) were trying to invade Venezuela (...) it was a historic day because of the transcendence and the impact that having achieved the objectives of entering our territory (...) in addition, what today is a strategic proposal that has ordered President Nicolás Maduro, which is the popular-military-police fusion there in practice,” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference.

He also highlighted that the Battle of the Bridges demonstrated the strength of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Militia and the People as a single block. “The weapons we had were those blocks and stones, but with stone in hand to defend the Homeland and with stone in hand we threw them out and ruined them with intention,” he said.

In addition, he reaffirmed that beyond the victory, the great meaning that it has to those who defeated this town that day, “because there was the OAS (Organization of American States), there was the narcoparaco (Iván) Duque with the narcoparaco of (Álvaro) Uribe, there was (Sebas and Ian) Piñera, Mario Abdo Benítez from Paraguay; the Department of States sent its delegates to witness the invasion of our country,” he added.

In that regard, he stressed that two things were demonstrated that day: “one that this Venezuelan opposition is a bunch of thieves, they stole all the money; and two that they are tremendous inepts, who had all the financial power and support of all those countries and couldn't.”

“They had the dignity of Bolívar, Guaicaipura, Manuela Sáenz to defend our Homeland and in the end what had to happen a great popular victory happened and with that internal peace began to be consolidated,” he said and pointed out that all the threats he has done is to strengthen this people.
