During his Con El Mazo Dando program, Diosdado Cabello, highlighted that the president of Democratic Action (AD), Bernabé Gutiérrez, is a man of his word who has been persecuted by fascism for keeping away from the violent opposition.
“Bernabé (Gutiérrez) is a type of word, who decided to get away from the violent abstentionists and run as a candidate and that's why they attacked him, they took his visa, they persecuted him and the guy is still there,” said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
He added that, although he has no favorites in the opposition, Gutiérrez's position seems to him to be the most democratic and in line with the reality of the country compared to the fascists who do not have their children in Venezuela and call on opponents to take their families to demonstrations where they expect “something to happen”.
