Cabello on elected candidates for the AN: These colleagues come from true popular sentiment

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, extended his congratulations to the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) who were elected as deputies for the National Assembly.

“My congratulations to the new deputies , congratulations also to the opponents who won and are going to the AN, where they will face these colleagues who come from neighborhoods, who come from communities and who come from true popular sentiment,” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference.

He said that the AN “is the scene of political debate (...). What is true is that the fact that they brought pigs to the National Assembly is over.”

In the same way, he congratulated the elected governors and recognized the young leader Jhon Moreno in Cojedes, who failed to achieve victory. “This is politics (...) but it managed to awaken a hope that exists there, new responsibilities will come, but on the way to victory, victory will come,” he said.

“The truth was a great victory, yesterday we were reviewing our numbers and we were surprised at the response capacity of our people,” he said.

On the other hand, he recognized the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) for the extraordinary performance of Operation Republic throughout the national territory on this election day when peace prevailed.

In addition, he took the opportunity to send his condolences to the families of the FANB colleagues and the police who died in the midst of the sinking of a boat. “Our love and solidarity with them; the rest is nothing new,” he said, noting that only eight electoral crimes were registered.
