Cabello on Simonovis: He's the king of failure! Nothing you do has a positive result

On Wednesday, during the broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that the ultra-right coup leader Iván Simonovis “is a failure in everything he does.”

“The king of failure, Iván Simonovis, there is nothing in life where he has done something and has positive results,” he laughed, while anecdotally recalling that a former member of the former Judicial Technical Police (PTJ), now the Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), told him to question the opponent about the moment when he was saved by Douglas Rico.

“He was scared in one act and Douglas Rico had to save him. If you don't tell me, I'll tell Simonovis,” he warned.

He reported that last Monday, a new attack attempt by the Venezuelan extremist opposition was revealed to destabilize the country and sabotage the elections scheduled for Sunday, May 25, actions led by Simonovis, the former officer of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Arturo José Gómez Morante and the sayo María Corina Machado.

At the meeting with the media, he highlighted that the plans aimed to place explosive devices and electronic detonators in embassies, police commands, hospitals, public services and personalities of the Venezuelan State.

38 people were arrested, including explosives, coyotes and mercenaries, of whom 17 are foreigners, including Ukrainians, and 21 are nationals.
